Registered Nurse Case Manager

Rachel joins the Elite Life Care Services team with a diverse professional and educational background accompanied by several awards and accolades while enhancing her expertise. With a lifelong passion for helping others, Rachel first earned her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Elgin Community College graduating in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and was humbled to be selected to give the student commencement speech upon graduation. She then went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago graduating Summa Cum Laude and was the recipient of the Highest Academic Achievement Award. She spent the last four years working as a clinical surgical services nurse in an operating room setting.

Throughout the pandemic, she also took on roles to best serve the public by being trained in respiratory therapy and infection control triage. Rachel also holds an Associate’s of Applied Science in Human Services with an emphasis in mental illness and substance abuse counseling. She spent a year interning at the Elgin Mental Health Center, focusing on the therapeutic holistic needs of her patients. While pursuing her educational goals, Rachel worked in the financial industry helping clients focus on financial stability and growth while also training her colleagues and helping develop and ensure operational compliance protocols. During this management experience, she and her team received a coveted Service Excellence Award.

Rachel is now transitioning from a direct caregiver role into the Registered Nurse Case Management position to combine her wealth of knowledge, skills, and attitudes to advocate for and bring complete and distinguished care to the clients and wards that Elite LCS serves.

In the future, Rachel hopes to pursue higher education within the nursing field to combine her love of learning with compassion for others. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, listening to music, dancing, reading, doing essentially any outdoor activity, and travel to new places. She is a lover of languages and learning about other cultures, with one of her most memorable travel experiences being as an exchange student in Northern France.
